WHY DO I NEED A CHIROPRACTOR?

I am often asked “why do I need a chiropractor?” Even with the amount of chiropractors in Frisco and Plano and the surrounding areas we have failed to get the information out. A Chiropractor’s job is to ensure proper motion in the spine. When there is proper motion in the spine the muscles can move freely and there is no pain. However, more importantly than not having any pain is the fact that the nerves that come off the spinal cord and exit the spine and go between the muscles are not being pinched in any way. Any pressure on a nerve will start to decrease its ability to function. Decreasing a nerves function might not hurt, however, it will decrease the function of whatever that nerve goes to. If that nerve goes to your heart your heart will not work right. If that nerve goes to your gut then you might get constipation, diarrhea, gas, as well as a number of other issues. If the nerves from the low back are compressed then you can have issues with bowel, bladder, sexual dysfunction, and even weakness in walking. All of these things can be helped by seeing a chiropractor. All functions of the human body can be helped by chiropractic. It will probably not be the only thing that you will need to achieve total health, however in most cases total health cannot be achieved without it.
